2026-2027 Age Group Update

February 26, 2026

Starting in 2026–2027, teams will move from Birth Year to School Year age groups — and here’s why:

✅ Players stay with their classmates and friends
✅ Teams are more aligned socially and developmentally
✅ Competition becomes more balanced
✅ Schedules align better with the school calendar
✅ Less confusion around cutoff dates

The goal? A smoother, more consistent experience for players and families — and a better development pathway overall.

Change can feel big, but this one is designed to support the kids first. Suda Swarm is committed to creating a smooth and clear transition for all players. 🐝
