Tournaments
Each Suda Swarm team participates in at least one pre-season and one post-season tournament. Below are our tournament guidelines to follow by all players.
Current 2025-2026 Tournament Guidelines
October 6, 2025 Update: Our local tournament fees will be a flat $100 per event per player from U8-U19. This excludes out-of-state events or special college showcases for older teams (U16 and older).
New 2026-2027 Tournament Guidelines
Suda Swarm FC teams are expected to participate in a minimum of 2–4 tournaments per seasonal year, depending on age group, team level, and competitive pathway (SCCL, NAL, DPL). Additional tournaments, showcases, or special events may be scheduled at the discretion of the coaching staff.
U7–U8 Only: Participation in tournaments is not required during the first pre-season, allowing players to focus on development, training environment, and transition into the program.
- Tournament participation is considered an important part of the player development pathway, providing exposure, competitive experience, and team-building opportunities.
- Tournament fees are not included in annual tuition and are considered a separate team expense.
- All players rostered to a team are financially responsible for their equal share of tournament-related costs, regardless of individual participation, as team expenses are based on full roster commitments and budgeting.
U7-U19 Tournament-related expenses may include:
- Tournament registration fees
- Check-in fees
- Coach per diem
- Coach travel expenses (hotel, mileage, flights if applicable)
- Team administrative or event-related costs
These expenses will be divided evenly among all rostered players unless otherwise communicated.
U7-U19 Payment Process:
- Tournament fees will be communicated by each Team Manager in advance whenever possible, including estimated costs and timelines
- Payments will be collected by the team team managers or team staff
- All payments must be made by the stated deadline to ensure team participation
U7-U19 Travel Expenses:
Families are responsible for all individual travel-related expenses, including:
- Transportation (gas, flights, etc.)
- Hotel accommodations
- Meals and personal expenses
- Travel expectations will be communicated clearly prior to each event.
U7-U19 Commitment and Availability:
By accepting a roster position, families acknowledge:
- Tournament participation is part of the team commitment
- Financial responsibility applies regardless of attendance
- Availability should be communicated in advance through PlayMetrics and directly with the coaching staff
Refund Policy:
- Tournament fees are non-refundable once the team is registered for an event
- In the event of injury, absence, or withdrawal, tournament costs remain the responsibility of the player due to team-based financial commitments
Weather and unforeseen circumstances:
In cases of cancellations, rescheduling, or weather-related disruptions:
- Tournament organizers determine refund policies
- Any recovered funds will be distributed at the team level if applicable
- Additional costs due to rescheduling or changes may be shared across the team
Our goal is to provide a structured, competitive, and professional tournament experience with clear communication, transparent costs, and no surprises for our families.

Being part of Suda Swarm isn’t about physicality or size.
🧠 It’s about how you think
🌪️ How you adjust
💪🏼 Who you are when the game gets tough
Are you coachable? Disciplined? Able to solve problems?
Because when it’s challenging, mindset beats talent.
That’s who we give opportunities to. 🐝⚽️
