Cumming, GA – March 2025 — Sudamerica Swarm FC is excited to announce the appointment of Mirvad Causevic as the club’s new Technical Director. With an extensive background in coaching, player development, and administrative support, Mirvad will provide technical and administrative guidance for the various programs at Suda Swarm FC. His leadership will play a key role in elevating the club’s training, development, and overall player experience.

As Technical Director, Mirvad will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our soccer programs, working closely with our Executive Director, Coaches, and Team Managers to ensure a uniform player development across all age groups. His role will also include providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of both the competitive and recreational sides of the club, creating a comprehensive structure that supports players, coaches, and families alike.

About Mirvad Causevic

Born in Prijedor, Bosnia, Mirvad Causevic moved to the United States in 1998, where he developed a deep passion for soccer that shaped both his playing and coaching careers. He played soccer at Reinhardt University, where he also discovered his true calling in coaching.

Mirvad began his coaching career with Georgia Impact in 2009, working with teams across various age groups, from the Academy to high school levels. His dedication to developing young talent led him to become the Academy Director at FC Sudamerica in 2022, where he focused on Academy player development and creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

“Player development is not about building the best team for today, but cultivating the passion and skills that will create great players for tomorrow,” Mirvad expressed. “I am excited to join Sudamerica’s growing program and contribute to the continued success of our players and teams.”

In addition to his work at FC Sudamerica, Mirvad coached at West Forsyth High School for two years. During this time, he led the Junior Varsity boys to back-to-back winning seasons. Throughout his coaching career, Mirvad has managed teams at various competitive levels, including Academy, GPL, NL, and NPL. He has also coached futsal at a high level for over 5 years.

Mirvad is passionate about our soccer community and committed to developing skills, teamwork, and a love for the game. His extensive background in both coaching and administrative roles makes him an exciting addition for Sudamerica Swarm FC.
